"My initial thoughts on exploring collage in this project were somewhat fraught. I felt the plain papers alone with little textural variation were going to be challenging to creating collage. However after talking with Edwards Dunlop staff, and understanding more about the paper market in general, I eased into the concept of making collage with greater confidence, using the magnificently printed papers used for advertising in conjunction with the lovely range of transparent papers.
