Winter Vines is from the Correspondence Series within the Farm Series. This work is a further exploration of the relationship of family history text and a specific landscape. The artist strongly identifies with the land which her family farmed for generations on the Granite Belt in South East Queensland, and asks the question which is more significant, the people or the place. The colour relates strongly to this district.
