Sforzando is part of the Music Series. This work is a collage. It explores the decorative and repetitive element of classical music. A ground of Japanese paper squares is the base on which to accentuate the series of cut out string instruments. Sforzando is an Italian musical term, meaning a loud accent.

Twenty of these works will tour regional Queensland in 2000/2001 under the joint auspices of the Queensland Arts Council and the Queensland Performing Arts Trust.
