Saskia by Helen Sanderson
DescriptionSaskia is a drawing of a friend's daughter, doing warm up exercised for dance. It is a page in the Drawing a Day Book 1998, which was conceived by a group of friends who are all artists as a joint project to give form to a need to draw every day. Saskia's father is one of those artists working on the book project. My book became an interesting document recording visually the people, places, things and events in my life. It was an interesting opportunity to draw things I would never have done before. I often just drew what was there at the time I had a small opportunity to draw. DimensionsWidth: 14.5cm Height: 12cm ExhibitedThis book was exhibited as a work in progress at the artist's book +multiples fair in 1998. Other InformationThis book was bound by Adele Outteridge, another of the artists involved in the drawing a day project. |
