Maestoso is part of the Music Series. This work is a collage using a range of papers, scanned imagery and antique lace. These works are mounted with archival quality papers and glue. Maestoso, an Italian musical term, means majestic.

This work was included in the 1999 exhibition Helen Sanderson - the Music series at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre. This exhibition closed in early March 2000.

There are thirty one works in the Music Series.

Twenty of the works in this series will tour regional Queensland in 200/2001 under the joint auspices of the Queensland Arts Council and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.
