Description

Gathering is part of the Dance Series. This monoprint was worked directly onto a marble plate during the rehearsals of the Australian Folkloric Dance Company (now known as World Dance). The plate is fully inked and then worked into with a variety of implements to create the image. The technique is very spontaneous, and responsive to the immediacy of the movement of the dancers in full flight.
