Description

Dancers in Rehearsal is a stitched book of photographic imagery, relating to the Australian Folkloric Dance Company, taken during a residency where I worked with the dancers in rehearsal. During the residency I photographed, drew, painted and created monoprints of the dancers while they danced. The book concertinas and folds in a whole range of different shapes, making it a very exciting sculptural object.

Adele Outteridge taught me how to create this sculptural book...and was in turn taught by Joan Schulze.
